- LAURA ASHLEY
FOUNDER OF DINNERIN321.COM

Hey there, I’m Laura!

I’ve worked in the food media industry in New York City for over 10 years collaborating with all different brands, celebrities, bloggers, and influencers helping them create food content. I’ve run an SEO food media consulting business, called Dang Good Digital, for a few years now, but also am an Emmy-nominated culinary television producer, and award-winning cookbook consultant.

I’m a professionally trained-chef and started my journey in Michelin kitchens in NYC. I knew I wanted to work in food media, and from there, worked in both magazines and television with some of the top brands like, Good Housekeeping Magazine, Food & Wine, Food52, Kitchn.com, Southern Living, and more. In television, I worked on ABC’s The Chew, The Good Dish, Dr. Oz, and currently am the Supervising Culinary Producer for Food Network’s The Kitchen.

What led me to food media SEO and social media consulting, you ask?

Well, it was something always discussed during monthly content planning with these large and small food companies that I worked with over the years. It often affects which recipes the brand or creator chooses to develop, publish, and film so that they can be seen online and also make money too.

Many of my colleagues in the New York food industry have gone on to become independent food creators and needed a strategy for both SEO and social media. I was finding many of them coming to me asking for advice and consulting services, and that was when my company, Dang Good Digital, was born.

I’ve worked with over 50 culinary brands and counting (both large and small), to help them refine, create, and plan their food content so they can continue to grow and do what they love.

The kitchen is my favorite place, and thinking about food every day is my absolute dream. I can’t wait to work with you on your culinary journey too!

"Since working with Laura, I’m more productive, focused and actually enjoy the SEO aspect of my job.

For years I felt like SEO and keyword identification limited my creativity and sucked the fun out of my work. I’ve been working with Laura for more than a year now, and I’ve never enjoyed blogging as much as I do now. She takes the vast world of SEO and distills it down into an actionable and achievable strategy every month.
